For a market leader in dredging, offshore energy and marine infrastructure projects we are currently looking for a Technical Engineer that will focus on technical projects concerning the fleet (i.e. ship conversions, large maintenance, upgrades, ...).
As a technical Engineer you will:
- Tackle technical challenges by developing repair strategies, estimating budgets, allocating resources, and performing safety verifications
- Investigate recurring technical issues and work with the reliability team to implement improvements
- Offer technical support to procurement and assist in subcontractor negotiations
- Perform onboard inspections to assess conditions and support preparation activities
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain seamless operations.

Profiel
- Holds a degree in a technical or engineering field, preferably related to marine or industrial engineering
- Shows technical knowledge and interest in vessel systems and operations
- Is a technical generalist with the ability to adapt across various challenges
- Is flexible and willing to travel occasionally for short business trips (80% HQ-based, 20% travel)
