Our client is an international market leader in industrial refrigeration, heat pumps, and gas compressors, located in the greater Brussels region. They are at the forefront of energy efficiency and CO₂ reduction through innovative, sustainable cooling technologies. In Belgium, the organization employs approximately 150 people.
For their technical service department, they are looking for a Team Lead Automation / Control Engineering. In this role, you combine technical expertise with team coordination. You will lead a team of automation engineers while remaining hands-on in the automation, PLC programming, and electrical schematics of complex, custom-built installations.
You will act as the technical point of contact, oversee quality and planning, and work closely with production, customers, and international colleagues. Regular visits to customer sites in Belgium and abroad are part of the role.

Profiel
You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field (preferably in automation)
You have experience leading and managing a team
You possess strong knowledge and hands-on experience in automation
Experience in the industrial refrigeration sector is a strong asset
You have an excellent command of English
Regular travel (approximately one week per month) does not pose a problem for you
