For an innovative Belgian company with Australian roots, I am looking for a Technical Support Engineer. This company specializes in security technologies and works with clients like Microsoft or the Oscars. When the Covid pandemic started they saw an opportunity with their core product and responded to this crisis by developing one of the most advanced social distancing and contact tracing systems for enterprises.
For this application, they are looking for a Technical Support Engineer with a healthy interest in Security, Bluetooth and Big Data. Your responsibility will be offering 2nd line support and providing an enterprise level of application assistance. Interest and understanding of the entire product from A to Z is crucial. Analytical and problem solving skills are required to conduct the initial analysis on incoming tickets and ensure all the required details. You’ll assist in proactive monitoring of application and server architectures to ensure system health. Profound experience with databases and SQL querying, Windows Server and scripting are a must have. Communication skills have to be excellent both written and spoken. You’ll come in contact with big enterprises and you’ll have to be able to handle their problems in a professional manner.
You’ll become a part of a support team of 4 spread out across Australia, US and Belgium. They make sure there is 24/7 support service all around the world by scheduling working hours according to time zones. They have a fully remote-work policy and even after Covid this flexible mentality will remain the case.
