Our client is a premier EU distributor specializing in active ingredients and synergists for formulating biocides and repellents used in household, professional, DIY, veterinary, pharmaceutical, and vector control applications.
Job Opportunity: (Junior) Sales Specialist
To support their continued growth, our client is seeking a motivated and professional Sales Specialist to maintain and expand our existing accounts while developing new business opportunities in collaboration with a dedicated team.
Responsibilities:
- Actively seek and develop new business opportunities.
- Cultivate and nurture a robust sales pipeline.
- Manage a customer portfolio, including key accounts.
- Represent them at trade shows and events in your local market.
- Implement pricing, margin, and product strategies aligned with a long-term growth plan.
- Create and deliver sales and profit budgets.
- Address technical and regulatory inquiries from customers with support from partners’ R&D/technical teams and our regulatory department.
- Share market insights with the Sales and Business Development teams regarding new business opportunities, competitor strategies, market trends, and product development.
Profiel
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in a commercial B2B role.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in a relevant economic or scientific discipline; experience in a regulated market is advantageous.
- Proficiency in German and/or French for customer and partner interactions.
- Strong "hands-on" and "can-do" mentality.
- Customer-focused with a proactive approach to business development.
- Team player who can also work independently to achieve targets.
- Energetic and down-to-earth personality, contributing positively to our team environment.
