We are looking for SAP-BI  Senior Consultant to strengthen the SAP team for a period of minimum 1 year. 

The Company is in the process of leaving a former group to join a new group, the candidate will experiment a carve out process and transformation activities in a fast changing company. 

In this context, the organisation is reorganizing itself  - merging companies, rationalizing applications, Those activities involve organizational changes and solution changes, SAP-BI being a key component for a while. The candidate will be working on project activities and maintenance activities.  

Even if the current BI solution is mainly Finance oriented,  it also provides reporting on MM, SD, HR as well related to the underlying SAP-ECC data. 

Next to a thorough technical and functional background, the candidate needs to possess good organization skills as well as the ability to interact with the business to analyze new requirements into good solutions. The candidate should also understand the existing solution and support its coherence and integrity

According to the current portfolio of activities and transition period. The current SAP-BI application and reporting needs to be continued at least for 2 years. 

In parallel, new  solutions needs to be elaborated to replace SAP-BI (probably in Azure environment)partially or entirely ➔ still under investigation)). So the candidate will have to support the  elaboration of new solution from a technical and functional point of view considering the structure of existing solution.  

The candidate should be fluent in English. 

• You have a Bachelor or Master degree in IT, Accounting, Finance and at least 5 years of experience as a SAP -BI consultant.
• You’ve the technical skills about SAP-BI and have worked in the context of Financial application (Accounting – Controlling)

  • Integrated Planning and BPS – FOX formulas
  • Retraction to SAP – Planning data    
  • Query design 
  • ABAP development 
  • Web- Portal  - WAD (Web application designer) 
  • BEX reporting
• Must provide solutions that are scalable and easy to maintain (respect and promote Standard approach)
• Good knowledge of SAP data model to collaborate with technical team 
• Have a good understanding of accounting, controlling practices 
• Able to follow guidelines and best practices
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple requests and internal clients.
• Must possess strong ethics, interpersonal skills, and engage in continuous learning
• Minimum experience of 5 years in SAP BI
• Must be able to speak and write in English.
