HVAC Tender Engineer - In‑House MEP Team at Main Contractor

Our client is a well-established Belgian main contractor with a diverse portfolio of construction and infrastructure projects both locally and internationally. As an MEP Tender Engineer with a focus on HVAC, you will be responsible for preparing and analyzing tender dossiers for HVAC installations. You translate plans and specifications into accurate cost calculations while collaborating closely with internal engineering teams, suppliers, and subcontractors.

This role is based in Brussels, with the possibility to work remotely 2 days per week after onboarding.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze technical specifications, drawings, and tender documentation with a focus on HVAC.
• Prepare detailed cost calculations and quotes for HVAC components.
• Compare offers from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Suggest optimizations and alternatives to improve both technical solutions and cost efficiency.
• Coordinate with internal MEP engineers, design teams, and other disciplines.
• Identify risks and opportunities within projects.
• Prepare final tender documents for internal validation and submission.

• Master’s degree in engineering, preferably electromechanical or civil engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in HVAC tendering or cost estimation.
• Fluent in English AND Dutch or French.
• Strong technical insight and analytical skills to prepare accurate offers.
• Experience reading and adjusting drawings at a sketch level.
• Team player with ownership, flexibility, and resilience under pressure.
