Our client is an international group of specialized companies in the fields of maintenance dredging, land reclamation, port infrastructure development, offshore services for the oil and gas industry, offshore wind farm installation, environmental remediation, and more. They are active on every continent and employ more than 5,000 people worldwide!
Currently, they are looking for a Data Officer to act as a bridge between the business and IT.
Responsibilities:
Be the main point of contact for all data-related matters such as data architecture, databases, and BI reports within your preferred domains.
Independently define and lead data-related change requests (with multiple stakeholders and contributors).
Identify new opportunities to improve data management, data consumption, and service delivery.
Define use cases for data products (e.g., databases, BI reports) and explain how they contribute to tangible benefits for the business and its users.
Profiel
Experience as a Data Officer/Scientist.
Bachelor's/Master's degree.
You have fundamental knowledge of data management, data engineering, data analysis, and reporting. An interest in data strategy and advanced analytics is a plus.
Strong communication skills.
