Commodity Manager

SOUND - Our client is a leading company in sound technology for, among others, the automotive industry, known for its innovation and customer satisfaction. Producing over 90 million speakers annually, the company focuses on high-quality, sustainable sound systems. In the coming years, it aims to expand its product and customer portfolio and is therefore looking for a Commodity Manager Plastics.
As the Commodity Manager Plastics, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the procurement strategy for engineering plastics within Europe. You will report to the Senior Global Purchasing Manager in Dendermonde and work closely with internal teams to strengthen supplier relationships, ensure cost efficiency, and closely monitor market trends. In this role, you will lead the entire sourcing process, from negotiations to supplier selection and relationship management, with a focus on the European market. You should be willing to travel occasionally to visit suppliers and further strengthen collaborations.

Profiel
You have a Bachelor's degree
You are fluent in English
You have at least 3 years of experience in purchasing within an industrial environment
Experience with plastic commodities is a plus
Experience with European suppliers
Experience with SAP is a plus
You have a proactive mindset
