Business Domain Architect

Do you enjoy bridging the gap between business and IT while helping shape the digital strategy of a complex organization?

In this role, you will translate strategic business objectives into concrete digital initiatives. You will analyse business needs, define solution approaches, and work closely with stakeholders to determine the best way to deliver projects successfully.

This is not a role for a purely technical software or cloud architect. Instead, you are someone who can connect business, processes and technology, ensuring that digital solutions create real business value.

Your responsibilities

• Translate strategic business initiatives into concrete digital projects.
• Develop and maintain the architectural vision for your business domain.
• Analyse existing business processes, applications and information flows, identifying opportunities for optimisation and improvement.
• Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders to gather and clarify business requirements.
• Translate functional and non-functional requirements into pragmatic, fit-for-purpose solution designs.
• Support the evaluation and selection of new applications and software solutions.
• Ensure alignment and consistency across projects, applications and business processes.
• Guide strategic initiatives from the analysis and scoping phase through implementation, ensuring that delivered solutions meet the intended business objectives.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, project managers, IT teams and external partners.

• Experience as a Domain Architect, or extensive experience in business or business process analysis within a complex stakeholder environment.
• Experience with digital transformation initiatives.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent through experience.
• Strong communication skills with both business and technical stakeholders.
• A genuine interest in digital transformation, business processes and enterprise applications.
