This company is a major player in the energy transport sector and plays a crucial role in managing gas infrastructure in Belgium and beyond. They operate a transport network responsible for the safe and efficient distribution of natural gas to households, industries, and power plants. In addition to natural gas, the company is committed to developing sustainable energy solutions and supporting the ecological transition by integrating new technologies and green molecules, such as hydrogen, into their network.
As a Business Analyst in the Architecture department, you will work closely with various teams, including Gas Flow Management, Asset Management, and General Applications (HR, IS, Finance). You will help develop and manage IT solutions that optimize the management of gas flows, infrastructure, and maintenance activities.
Your tasks include:
- Analyzing and understanding complex IT challenges and explaining them clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Supporting the development of tools and applications, particularly focused on gas flow management and asset management.
- Collaborating with technical and business teams to design and implement solutions.
- Contributing to the ecological transition by integrating new molecules and technologies into existing processes.
Profiel
- You hold a master's degree in a technical field, such as Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- You have experience with methodologies such as Agile.
- You possess excellent analytical skills and can quickly grasp the core of a problem.
- You are fluent in Dutch and French/English.
- Experience in project management and/or team management is a plus.
- You are a strong communicator and can convey technical information clearly.
